Basketball Referees’ Club (BRC) was established by Zsolt Hartyáni and Norbert Lugossy in 2008. BRC is an exclusive organization for basketball referees, commissioners and instructors working under FIBA rules, but any official outside of FIBA is also welcome.
BRC’s activity is based on this website (www.refereeclub.com). Our aim is to set up a communication base for basketball referees all over the world, at any officiating level, in order to exchange ideas among them, and improve the level of officiating.
The BRC website was launched in 2009 with the goal of becoming one of the most interesting and effective tool for basketball officials, as well as bring together a worldwide basketball referee family.
To become a member of BRC you just have to complete the online application form and wait for acceptance of your registration (this is not an automatic process).
Players, coaches and fans cannot become a member of BRC but we will be pleased to welcome any number of referees, commissioners, and instructors. However, in order to help everybody better understanding of FIBA rules, some contents will be accessible for all visitors of our site.
